Dr. Krasimira Rozenova

Biography

Krasimira Rozenova is an Assistant Professor of Anatomic Pathology at Yale University, with a specialization in hematopathology and molecular diagnostic pathology. She obtained her PhD from the University of Kentucky, where her research focused on cell signaling and inflammation. Rozenova completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Mayo Clinic and subsequently pursued fellowship training in hematopathology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and in molecular genetic pathology at Yale. Her primary research interests revolve around lymphoma and the application of short tandem repeat (STR) testing in pathology for diagnostic quality assurance purposes. Throughout her career, she has presented her work at numerous national and international meetings and has co-authored multiple publications in the field. At Yale, Rozenova is actively involved in clinical responsibilities, teaching, and mentoring pathology residents and fellows.
