Biography

Krish Krishnan earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science and completed post-doctoral work at the Scripps Research Institute. He has held a staff-scientist position at the Burnham Institute and a Senior Scientist position at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Dr. Krishnan has dual adjunct associate professor assignments in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Applied Science in the School of Engineering. He directs the NIH-funded "research infrastructure minority institution" (RIMI) program which nurtures biomedical translation research in California’s Central Valley. His research focuses on investigating biomolecular structure dynamics using magnetic resonance and computational methods, as well as studying large-scale data through “omics” analysis and modeling for biomarker detection.
