Biography

Krishnan Ram-Prasad is a Junior Research Fellow in Classics Linguistics at Merton College, University of Oxford. His research focuses on comparative Indo-European syntax and syntactic reconstruction. He completed his PhD in 2022, which investigated syntax, relative clauses, and Proto-Indo-European, along with the development of a research monograph with Cambridge University Press. His interests also extend to comparative diachronic syntax, where he develops synchronic analyses of ancient Indo-European languages.
