Biography

Kristian Uldall Kristiansen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Technical University of Denmark. He received his Cand. Scient. in Applied Mathematics from DTU in 2008 and completed his PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Surrey, UK in 2010. Following his doctoral studies, he served as a Visiting Fellow and Assistant Professor at City University of Hong Kong. In 2012, he undertook a postdoctoral position at DTU Mathematics before becoming an Assistant Professor in 2013 within the DTU Compute Section of Mathematics, where he has been actively involved in various research and teaching initiatives. His research interests include dynamical systems, singular perturbation theory, and blowup phenomena, contributing significantly to both theoretical foundations and practical applications within these areas.
