Dr. Kristin Barry completed her PhD in Auditory Neuroscience at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2019. Her research primarily focuses on preclinical models of hearing loss and tinnitus, specifically concentrating on brain areas associated with hearing injury from loud noise exposure that are involved in generating tinnitus. Her current external position is at Curtin University as a Research Fellow, starting in April 2024.
