Biography

Kristin Bührig is a Professor of German Linguistics with a focus on German as a Second and Foreign Language at the University of Hamburg. She has a rich academic background, having served as a Professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen, where her research concentrated on pragmatics and media communication. Her research interests span various aspects of multilingual communication, including contrastive linguistics, translational actions, and intercultural communication.
