Biography

Kristin Curran holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Quinnipiac University and completed an Entry Level Master's Physician Assistant Program, graduating with honors in 2007. She is a certified EMT-B who practiced from 2005 to 2011 and earned her Master's degree from Quinnipiac University in 2009. She received NCCPA board certification and practiced in the field of Internal Medicine for two years before joining the Yale Interstitial Lung Disease Center of Excellence, where she worked from 2012 to 2021. Kristin's primary areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of interstitial lung diseases (ILD), particularly Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and scleroderma. At Yale, she has been involved in clinical drug trials and serves as a support group leader for patients and family members affected by these conditions. In 2021, she transitioned to Yale Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology, where she focuses on treating patients with autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and others. With a commitment to patient care and empathy, Kristin strives to manage complex rheumatologic disorders effectively.
