Kristin Diehl is the Herrmann Family Endowed Chair Professor of Marketing at the USC Marshall School of Business. Her research focuses on how individuals anticipate, experience, and remember events over time. She examines the impact of taking photographs on consumer enjoyment and the memory of experiences, as well as how consumers search for and utilize product information, especially in environments with low search costs and extensive product assortments. Diehl has published extensively in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Marketing. She was honored with the Early Career Award from the Association for Consumer Research in 2010 and has served as President-elect of the same organization. Additionally, Diehl contributes to the editorial boards of several prestigious journals, including the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and teaches courses on consumer behavior and insight. Before joining USC, she taught at the University of South Carolina and Duke University.
