Biography

Kristin Musselman is an Associate Professor in the field of Physical Therapy. She is also a Senior Scientist with the Neural Engineering Therapeutics Team at KITE, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute – Lyndhurst Centre, and holds a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Multi-morbidity Complex Rehabilitation. Kristin completed her BSc in Life Sciences and BScPT at Queen’s University before pursuing her MSc in Neurosciences and PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Alberta. She served as a CIHR Post-doctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Kennedy Krieger Institute from 2010 to 2013. In addition to her research roles, Kristin is the academic lead for the Canadian SCI Walking Measures Group and is an executive board member of the International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society, as well as contributing to the Canadian ABT Community Practice.
