Biography

Kristin M. Schroeder is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and an Associate Research Professor of Global Health at Duke University. A trained pediatric neuro-oncologist, Kristin is actively involved in neuro-oncology capacity development in Sub-Saharan Africa, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to establish vital diagnostic and treatment opportunities for patients. She has been awarded several grants to improve access to cancer care in Tanzania and enhance caregiver education.
