Biography

Kristina Andersson is a university lecturer in the field of the didactics of technology and natural sciences. Her research interests focus on gender perspectives in science and technology education from preschool to higher education. She is the co-lead of the project "In Search of the Importance of Matter - Gender, Emotions, and Equipment in Laboratory Teaching Situations," funded by the Swedish Research Council. Kristina has previously participated in projects funded by the Swedish Research Council that explore boundaries between subject disciplines and school subjects, and has been responsible for gender and equality issues within a competence center for Additive Manufacturing for Life Sciences at Uppsala University. Additionally, she holds positions in faculty renewal and the committee for associate professors at her institution.
