Kristinn joined the School of Education in October 2013. Previously, Kristinn has published work on estimating the macroeconomic impacts of education, which includes modeling both market and non-market outcomes. He employs a range of methodologies, such as Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models and input-output approaches to analyze the impacts of education institutions and student populations in various geographic contexts.
