Biography

Kristoffer Petersson is a medical physicist from Helsingborg, Sweden, holding an M.Sc. (2009) and a Ph.D. (2014) in Medical Radiation Physics from Lund University, Sweden. He had a post-doctoral period (2014-2017) working on FLASH radiation at CHUV, Lausanne, Switzerland. He subsequently worked as a clinical medical physicist from 2017 to 2019 before starting his own research group focused on FLASH radiotherapy at Skåne University Hospital. In 2019, he became the group leader of the research group "Physics Biology FLASH Radiation" in the Department of Oncology.
