Dr. Krisztina Bajzak

Biography

Krisztina Bajzak is a Gynecologist and Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She serves as the Clinical Research Director and Assistant Program Director in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her practice emphasizes minimally invasive surgical procedures, chronic pelvic pain, and sexual health, with a strong commitment to acknowledging diverse gender identities and the ancestral lands of the Beothuk and Mi’kmaq peoples. Dr. Bajzak is fellowship-trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (MIG) and has held significant roles including service on the Board of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), Editorial Board of the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and has chaired the AAGL Research Committee. She has also completed a Sex Therapy course approved by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (ASSECT). Dr. Bajzak has co-authored clinical guidelines for female sexual health and chronic pelvic pain, contributing significantly to her field.
