Dr. Kuan Hao Huang

Biography

Kuan-Hao Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2023. Prior to that, he obtained both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science Information Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2016 and 2014, respectively. His research focuses primarily on natural language processing, including large language models, vision-language models, and multilingual understanding. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field, receiving the Google Research Scholar Award in 2025 and serving as an Area Chair for the Association for Computational Linguistics in 2023. Huang maintains an active personal website which showcases his work and achievements. He also has a profile on Google Scholar for tracking his publications and citations.
