Biography

Kuldeep Meel is the Stephen Fleming Early Career Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, currently on leave from the University of Toronto. He held the NUS Presidential Young Professorship at the National University of Singapore prior to his move to Toronto. His primary research interest lies in automated reasoning with a long-term vision of advancing techniques to enable computing in increasingly uncertain real-world environments. His work straddles both theory and practice, drawing ideas from randomized algorithms, statistical inference, formal methods, and software engineering to enhance scalability in automated reasoning. Kuldeep has received numerous accolades including the 2019 NRF Fellowship in AI, the 2022 Early Career Researcher Award, and recognition as one of AI's 10 to Watch in IEEE Intelligent Systems in 2020.
