Biography

Kunhiraman P.K. Nair, Professor Emeritus at the University of New Brunswick, joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 1972 and officially retired in 1999. He served as Dean of the Faculty from 1983 to 1989. Upon retirement, the university conferred him the lifetime rank of Professor Emeritus in Business Administration. Known for his productivity as a researcher, Dr. Nair has published numerous papers in well-respected journals, primarily focusing on quality control, location theory, and multi-objective programming. He has produced 50 refereed journal articles and book chapters and has presented papers at various international conferences. His research has appeared in prestigious publications such as the Canadian Journal of Operational Research, Management Science, and Networks. Dr. Nair is also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Production & Operations Management and continues conducting research in areas such as decision processes, network theory, game theory, and combinatorics.
