Biography

Kwaku Poku Asante is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. He is a public health physician and the director of the Kintampo Health Research Centre in Ghana, which is a leading center for health research in the country and the African region. He is recognized for his expertise and mentors students in research endeavors, boasting an impressive publication record with over 100 scholarly articles to his name. Moreover, he is a member of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology and is currently serving as the Chair of the African Chapter of ISEE.
