Biography

Kwan Hui Lim is an Assistant Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, where he leads the Social Urban Analytics Lab in the Information Systems Technology and Design Pillar. His prior experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne's School of Computing and Information Systems, a Research Engineer at the Living Analytics Research Centre at the Singapore Management University, and a Research Intern at IBM Research – Australia. He obtained his PhD from the University of Melbourne and holds a Master of Science (Research) and a Bachelor of Computer Science with First Class Honours from the University of Western Australia. Kwan Hui Lim is a recipient of the prestigious 2016 Google PhD Fellowship in Machine Learning. His research focuses on Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Social Network Analysis, and Social Computing.
