Biography

Kylee Phillips, MD, MBA is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. She is also a Team Physician for the University of Michigan Department of Athletic Medicine. Dr. Phillips is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine. Her responsibilities include overseeing the Emergency Medicine Sports Medicine elective and coordinating the Sports Medicine-Emergency Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Phillips graduated from the University of Arizona School of Medicine and the Eller College of Management, and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan. Her clinical interests focus on the use of ultrasound in assessing musculoskeletal injuries, emergency action planning for athletic events, and improving the assessment and treatment of concussions and musculoskeletal injuries among Emergency Medicine physicians.
