Biography

Professor Kyojin Choo received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. In 2018, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA. Between 2009 and 2013, he worked in the Image Sensor Development Team at Samsung Electronics in Yong-In, Korea, where he designed signal readout chains for mobile and DSLR image sensors. From 2018 to 2021, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan and subsequently joined the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) as an Assistant Professor. Professor Choo holds over 20 patents in his field. His research interests include charge-domain circuits, sensor interfaces, energy converters, and high-speed links, involving the development of millimeter-scale integrated systems.
