Kyong Mi Tak has thirty years of experience teaching the Korean language. She has held various positions in teaching, curriculum development, staff management, and language program management with institutions such as the Department of Defense, the Department of the Army, and the U.S. Department of State. At the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, she currently teaches and manages the Korean language program. She has developed validated textbooks and course curriculums for Korean language instruction at different levels and has played a key role in developing language training programs tailored for diplomats and consular officers working in embassies and consulates abroad.
