Biography

Kyra Gan is an assistant professor in the Department of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University. She completed her Ph.D. in Operations Research from Carnegie Mellon University in 2022, following a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Smith College in 2017. Her research focuses on developing robust, end-to-end frameworks for generating and implementing evidence-based personalized healthcare strategies. Additionally, Kyra collaborates directly with clinicians to address pressing challenges, including enhancing heart failure care and advancing interpretable clinical applications of machine learning.
