Kyra St-Pierre received her Ph.D. from the University of Alberta in 2018. Following her doctoral studies, she completed a four-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia in partnership with the Hakai Institute. In 2023, she joined the University of Ottawa as an assistant professor. St-Pierre leads the Land-to-Ocean (L2O) Biogeochemistry Lab, where her research combines tools and techniques from environmental chemistry, earth sciences, ecology, hydrology, and oceanography to gain insights into aquatic ecosystem functions and how ecosystems respond to environmental changes.
