Biography

Ladan Tahvildari is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. She founded the Software Technologies Applied Research (STAR) Lab in 2004, focusing on software engineering with particular emphasis on software architecture, autonomic computing, security, and software analysis and testing. Her research aims to develop techniques and tools to facilitate the construction, analysis, and maintenance of large-scale software systems.
