Dr. Lagu Androga

Biography

Dr. Lagu Androga is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen's University. Originally from South Sudan, Dr. Androga spent formative years in Kenya and the UK before pursuing higher education in the United States. He studied Chemistry and Molecular Biology & Biochemistry at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Following this, he spent four years as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. and Accenture LLC. He later embarked on medical studies at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, where he graduated with distinction in research. Dr. Androga completed a three-year Nephrology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, followed by a six-month glomerulonephritis and pregnancy nephrology fellowship at the University of Toronto. His clinical research interests focus on glomerulonephritis and health care delivery, with published articles in the areas of telenephrology and glomerulonephritis.
