Dr. Laina Greene

Biography

Laina Raveendran Greene is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School and the founder and CEO of Angels of Impact, a venture that supports women entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia. With over a decade of experience leading this initiative, she has made significant contributions to the empowerment of women within the tech industry. Prior to this, Laina served as the Executive Director at Inti Bangun Sejahtera, a public-listed Indonesian cellphone tower company. Her entrepreneurial journey spans more than ten years, during which she started and sold a B2B marketing company in Singapore and ran a technology consulting business in Silicon Valley for twenty years. Laina's career includes consulting for major technology firms like Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks, and she has played vital roles in international organizations such as the International Telecommunication Union and the Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre. She has also been a guest lecturer at Stanford University, where she taught courses on intercultural negotiations and social innovation. Laina is a passionate advocate for digital inclusion and gender equality, recognized globally for her contributions to the fields of telecommunications and technology.
