Lan Xiong is an associate professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Addiction Studies, Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal. Dr. Xiong specializes in human genetics with expertise in neurogenetics and psychiatric genetics, and her work has broad applications, particularly in identifying genes related to schizophrenia and other developmental disorders in consanguineous individuals across various populations including Franco-Canadians, Inuit, and Chinese.
