Biography

Lanabi La Lova is an Advanced Quantitative Fellow and a Guest Lecturer at the London School of Economics (LSE), specializing in computational political science with a focus on text-as-data quantitative approaches in political science. His research interests encompass political communication, propaganda, and media systems, particularly in relation to Russia, Ukraine, the Balkans, and broader themes of authoritarian politics and democratic backsliding. Currently, he serves as a Research Officer on an ERC-funded project called JUSTINT at the European Institute. His work includes themes of transitional justice, gender, parliamentary politics, and comparative authoritarianism, applying innovative data science methods, including natural language processing and advanced statistical analysis. With a background in economics and statistics, and experience in financial consultancy, Lanabi brings an interdisciplinary perspective to the study of political regimes and communication strategies.
