Biography

R. Lanier Anderson is currently the J.E. Wallace Sterling Professor of Humanities at Stanford University, where he serves as a Professor of Philosophy and has courtesy appointments in German Studies and English. His research primarily focuses on late modern philosophy, particularly the influence of Kant on nineteenth-century thought.
