Biography

Lannie Ligthart is a Research Associate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, focusing on Biological Psychology and Personalized Medicine. With expertise related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Lannie’s work contributes to understanding and improving well-being through a multi-omics approach. He is currently the Principal Investigator for the project 'Power Wellbeing', which aims to build an integrative framework for well-being. Lannie has been involved in various research activities, including lectures and presentations on the academic development of pain, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. He has received multiple awards, including the EFIC-Grünenthal Grant and the Thompson Award, recognizing his contributions to academic research and collaborations in his field.
