Biography

Larry Lake is a Professor and the Shahid Sharon Ullah Endowed Chair in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University in 1967 and his PhD from Rice University in 1973. His research focuses on enhanced oil recovery, decision risk analysis, and geochemistry flow. King Award for professional service. He has also held the distinctions of SPE Distinguished Member and SPE Distinguished Lecturer.
