Biography

Larry Lemmons received his PhD in Media Communication from Texas Tech University in 2021. He also attained an MFA in Drama from the University of Washington and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. With over a decade of experience as a broadcast journalist, Larry has worked in various markets, including Phoenix and Amarillo, serving in roles such as producer, reporter, and anchor. He produced the notable franchise piece, 'Panhandle Spirit' while at KVII-TV, and has reported on significant events including the Oprah Winfrey beef lawsuit in 1998, state legislatures in Arizona and Texas, national presidential campaigns, and even a shuttle launch. Larry is a military brat and an Air Force veteran, having served as a broadcaster in the Philippines with AFRTS. Recently, he has shared his passion for brewing beer, particularly reflecting on his years spent in England at Cirencester Brewing Company.
