Biography

Lars Ehlers is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the Université de Montréal, having joined the faculty in 2001. He earned his PhD in Economics at the University of Maastricht in 2001, after his undergraduate studies in Mathematics at the University of Aachen in 1997. He organizes the Microeconomic Theory Group at CIREQ, contributing to research on the manipulation of matching mechanisms in labor markets and addressing the complexities involved in the assignment of indivisible objects and externalities in cooperative environments. His work not only emphasizes theoretical underpinnings but also strives for practical applications within economic systems.
