Biography

I am a PhD fellow in Media Studies at the Center for Children's Literature and Media, where I research children's vulnerable positions regarding their everyday practices with digital technologies and social platforms. I work alongside researchers focusing on children's literature, literature across media, and media studies. Our special emphasis is on children's agency and participation in research involving literature and media, exploring what children do with literature and various types of media in different contexts, both historically and today. My primary research areas include child and media ethnography, research practices and processes from children's perspectives, and the role of play in relation to technologies and platforms. I also examine the impact of digital technologies and platforms on language and interactions, as well as the practices of youth concerning memes.
