She also investigates the reconfiguration of journalistic authority in response to societal critiques and technological change, focusing on the role of news literacy and emotions in sustaining journalism’s legitimacy. Laura has collaborated on national and European research projects and has been funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and the French National Research Agency (ANR), among others. She has given over fifty talks at conferences and has taught invited lectures at universities in Switzerland, France, Belgium, and Italy.
