Laura Bischoff is a scientific associate at the Institute of Human Movement Science at the University of Hamburg. She has a strong academic background in health sciences, having obtained her Bachelor of Science from Justus Liebig University Giessen, with a focus on movement and health, complemented by studies in psychology. Bischoff continued her education with a Master's degree in Movement Sciences with a concentration in health research at the University of Hamburg. Her professional journey includes student positions in sports medicine and movement and training science, where she contributed to projects related to corporate health management. Additionally, she has worked as a scientific staff member in both movement and training science, as well as health sciences, at the University of Hamburg. Bischoff has engaged in various research projects and publications, focusing on topics such as motor coordination, attention models, and the impact of poverty on health outcomes of the elderly. She has co-authored notable articles in health promotion and sports therapy, demonstrating her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field.
