Dr. Laura Bugenings

Biography

Laura Annabelle Bugenings is a PhD student at Aarhus University's Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, specializing in Building Science. She holds a Master of Science in Indoor Environmental and Energy Engineering from Aalborg University, awarded in June 2021, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Efficient Planning and Building from Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, awarded in March 2018. Her research primarily focuses on indoor environmental quality, building performance simulation, computational fluid dynamics, ventilation, and building renovation. Laura has been involved in various research projects, including developing novel design approaches for natural wind ventilation in housing stocks in Denmark. She actively participates in academic conferences and has collaborated with international institutions, including a visiting researcher role at RWTH Aachen University. Laura's commitment to advancing knowledge in her field is evidenced by her extensive research outputs and collaborative projects over the years.
