Biography

Laura is a Lecturer (Teaching) in the UCL School of Pharmacy. Her main responsibilities include making significant contributions to the running and development of MSc Drug Discovery programs. She teaches undergraduate level MPharm programs and postgraduate level MSc Drug Discovery courses. Laura supervises undergraduate research projects in MPharm and postgraduate research projects in MSc Drug Discovery, focusing on topics such as the discovery of novel antibacterials, identification of dopamine D3 ligands for treating CNS diseases, and the use of cancer nanostructures as well as business-related aspects of the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, she contributes to the management of MSc programs, organizational coordination, and institutional citizenship activities including MSc alumni careers events, helping students liaise with external partners while developing key employability skills and exploring professional opportunities.
