Biography

Professor Dalton joined Duke University in August 2022 after obtaining her Ph.D. from North Carolina State University. Her research interests focus on the study of reactive, multiphase transport in porous media, particularly the manipulation of chemical and physical processes occurring in engineered and natural porous materials. She utilizes quantitative imaging techniques such as X-ray computed tomography and electrical capacitance tomography to understand complex processes and develop innovative methods for CO2 sequestration.
