Biography

Laura Dondzilo completed her PhD at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2018, focusing on the role of cognitive processing in body image and eating disturbances. After completing her PhD, she continued to build her expertise in this unique line of research as a Research Fellow at UWA from 2019 to 2023. Laura has received several awards for her research, including the UWA Research Collaboration Award in 2022 and the Raine Medical Research Foundation Cockell Collaboration Award in 2019, which supported collaborative projects examining innovative approaches to understanding and treating mental health conditions such as anorexia nervosa and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
