Biography

Laura Gareau completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in English at Carleton University in 2003. She holds a Social Service Worker diploma from Algonquin College, which she earned in 2004. Gareau has been a full-time continuing employee at Carleton University since 2006. Before joining the Communication and Media Studies program in 2019, she worked for seven years at the School of Public Policy and Administration. Throughout her career at the university, she has held various positions including roles in the Sprott School of Business, Alumni Services, and the Department of University Communications.
