Biography

Laura Mcleod is a Senior Lecturer in International Politics at the University of Manchester and serves as the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Director for the Politics department. Laura's research endeavors have explored the intersection of gender and peacebuilding, particularly in relation to the implementation of the WPS agenda and the involvement of various actors in achieving feminist peace. She has completed significant research projects funded by the British Academy, examining the indicators of WPS and collaborating on feminist interventions in critical peace studies. Additionally, she is a member of the editorial board for the International Feminist Journal of Politics and has held various roles in academic and research collaborations. Laura is dedicated to mentoring PhD students and teaching courses on gender, war, and peace at the undergraduate and master's levels.
