Laura joined King’s College London in October 2021. She holds an MA in International Journalism from Brunel University London, an MA in Gender Studies from University College Dublin, and a double BA degree in History from Université Paris Diderot (Paris 7) and German Studies from Université La Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris 3). Her research interests include far-right parties, elitism, gender, sexuality, immigration, religion, discourse analysis, comparative politics, and Western Europe. Laura’s doctoral research focuses on exploring the paradox of elitism in radical right populist parties in France, Germany, and Italy, linked to gender-related issues using feminist critical discourse analysis. She is actively involved in academic discussions related to changing identities and capabilities that shape contemporary Europe through her research group, European Politics Society.
