Biography

Dr. Laura Sims is an Associate Professor in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her undergraduate and medical training in Saskatchewan, followed by residency training at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Sims also gained subspecialty training at the Roth McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre in London, Ontario, where she trained under some of the world's renowned surgeons. Her clinical practice in Saskatoon primarily focuses on surgical conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Sims has a keen interest in research, specifically in clinical outcome measures related to upper limb surgery.
