Dr. Laura Weber

Biography

Laura Weber, MD is an Emergency Medicine physician at NYU Langone Health. With a commitment to delivering compassionate and efficient care in high-pressure situations, she specializes in emergency medicine, medical education, simulation, and quality safety improvement. Her expertise includes creating mastery learning courses and employing simulation techniques to enhance healthcare quality and safety. Dr. Weber is dedicated to proactive healthcare engagement and actively participates in research and educational initiatives aimed at improving emergency care outcomes. She serves as the Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Simulation Fellowship, the Site Director for in-situ simulations at Tisch Hospital, and the Director of the residency simulation elective. Dr. Weber completed her MD at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and subsequently completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at NYU/Bellevue. Her educational background also includes undergraduate studies in economics at Johns Hopkins University. She has lived in Manhattan with her husband and children, demonstrating her long-term ties to the New York area and her dedication to fostering the community through medicine.
