Biography

Dr. Lauren Baldassarre is an Associate Professor of Medicine specializing in Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale Medicine. Her professional pursuits involve the integration of multimodal cardiovascular imaging with a focus on clinical and translational research. Her research interests prominently feature cardiovascular magnetic resonance and cardiovascular computed tomography. Dr. Baldassarre’s work contributes to cardiovascular disease prevention, particularly in the context of acute myocardial infarction, cardio-oncology, and valve disease in women. She leads the Cardio-Oncology Program at Yale Cancer Center, aiming to address cardiac side effects in patients undergoing cancer treatment.
