Biography

Lauren Connell Bohlen, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Brown University. Her primary research interests focus on the development, implementation, and evaluation of community-based interventions aimed at low-active adults and increasing public access to evidence-based, technology-delivered interventions for physical activity promotion. Dr. Bohlen has considerable research experience in the theories of health behavior change and has developed methods to improve systematic reporting in behavior change theory. She has also received the Research Funded Research Advance-CTR Mentored Research Award and the Rhode Island Foundation Medical Research Award.
