Biography

Lauren Matchison, AIA, is a Professor Practice at the University of Southern California's School of Architecture, where she directs the Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH) and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (BSAS) undergraduate programs. Since joining USC Architecture in 2007, she has also held various leadership roles, including Director of Pre-College Programs and Interim Director of Landscape Architecture + Urbanism. Lauren's commitment to architecture education is reflected in her focus on engaging young architecture students and creating a supportive mentorship culture. She has been recognized with multiple awards, including the ACSA Diversity Achievement Award for her work on A-LAB and the Provost’s Office Teaching Award.
