Biography

Lauren Mattioli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Boston University, having joined the department in 2018. She received her Ph.D. from Princeton University, where she also obtained her M.A. Her academic interests intersect primarily around American Politics, particularly focusing on Political Institutions, Public Law, Women's Politics, Judicial Politics, and the Presidency. Additionally, she has contributed as a predoctoral fellow at Emory University. Her research delves into the institutions of American government with a specific emphasis on inter-branch relations and gender politics, shedding light on the intricate dynamics that shape political frameworks and influence policy outcomes.
